About

Where your money goes

Every penny of your donation goes directly towards our projects. We have a 100% donation policy.

Thank you for considering a donation to our charity. Your generosity allows us to make a significant impact in the lives of those in need. Here is how your donations are used.

Your gift goes to the project you chose: essential resources such as food, clothing, and medical supplies to individuals and families in need, and educational initiatives, vocational training, and community development projects aimed at fostering long-term self-sufficiency.

All administrative fees, operational costs, and fundraising expenses are covered by Gift Aid and general donations. This ensures that your entire donation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

We are committed to transparency and accountability, ensuring that your support has the greatest possible impact.

Why Gift Aid is so important

Gift Aid is a scheme which enables registered charities like Love Mercy Hope to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer. Reclaiming tax on your donation will increase it by 25%.

If you donate £100 and you are a UK taxpayer and therefore tick the Gift Aid box, Love Mercy Hope will receive an additional £25, making your total donation £125. The £100 goes towards charitable programmes and activities, and the additional £25 may be spent on charitable programmes and activities or on administration and operational costs.

We therefore strongly recommend donors give their Gift Aid declaration if they are UK taxpayers, as this enables us to maintain a 100% donation policy on charitable programmes and activities, with our other costs covered through the Gift Aid that Love Mercy Hope receives.
